More than a cooking class, discover a way of life.

Saturday classes start at 8:30 am at the harbor, where we shop for fresh seafood right from the boats.

Then we meet again at the Farmers Market.

You meet the best producers. You learn how to shop for top quality ingredients,
and how to use them to create delicious home-cooked meals.

Our hands-on cooking class is followed by a delicious shared feast.
You also discover the pleasure of making personal connections
with the men and women who are, quite literally, "Experts in their fields."

The deep satisfaction of a way of life where community feeds your senses and your soul
resonates long after we have left the table.
Class wraps up around 3:30 pm.

Advance reservations required. Cost: $225 per person.
To reserve, please call Laurence at (805)259-7229 or click here to send me an e-mail.

"Hi Laurence,Thank you for such a wonderful experience at your beautiful home on Saturday.  I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I loved the whole experience and took away not only a sense of learning how to cook but a sense of nurturing my soul.  We all seek that don’t we?!
I look forward to your Summer class!" Millie M. Santa Barbara

We meet at 8:00 am at the Harbor

We shop for the freshest local seafood directly
from fishermen

We buy local produce at the Farmers Market

You get the inside scoop on who has the best produce
and the sweetest fruit

We shop at C'est Cheese.

Of course we need fresh baked bread too.
We baked this loaf ourselves.

We cook together at a lovely home cooking
Together we execute practical, intuitive recipes
that let the ingredients speak for themselves.

Class lets out around 3:30 pm, but people often choose to linger over conversation
To keep the experience intimate, attendance is limited to 8 people.
