Travel Documents & Other Practicalities
American citizens need a valid US passport to enter France. No visa is required. I recommend that you purchase travel insurance in case you need to cancel your plans. The tour is inclusive, but some cash in Euros and a spare credit card or debit card are useful in case you want to bring home souvenirs and for small purchases while abroad. Remember to bring needed prescriptions, and put them in your carry-on in case checked luggage gets delayed.

Travel Light(er)
Dress code in Provence is relaxed, and June weather is usually mild and sunny. Bring comfortable clothes that mix and match, walking shoes, and some favorite accessories, but leave room in your luggage for the fun stuff you are sure to find during the trip. A lightweight duffel bag that you stuff in your suitcase on the outbound flight may come in handy on the way home.
